True wellbeing is the essential foundation for human capability to be fully realised.

Corporate
I believe our greatest capability is not something we manufacture through a continual pursuit of optimisation, pressure or performance. It is something we access and allow.
When we are well, physically, mentally and emotionally, living in alignment with who we are, we simply have more of ourself available to us.
More energy. More clarity. More creativity. Better judgement. Greater emotional intelligence. A deeper capacity to connect, lead, contribute and create.
Yet health and wellbeing are still treated as something to address when they go wrong, or as initiatives that sit at the edges of how organisations think about performance and human capacity. In reality, wellbeing sits far further upstream.
It shapes our ability to learn, work, innovate, make decisions, build relationships, contribute and fulfil our potential. It is fundamental not only to individual health, but to organisational performance, culture and sustainability.
If we want to optimise outcomes, health and wellbeing are about as far upstream as we can go.
Because when people are able to access more of who they are, we don't simply create healthier people. We unlock more of what human beings are capable of.
How I work
-
Supporting the people upon whom a great deal depends.
The health and wellbeing of a CEO, founder or senior leader rarely affects them alone.
Their energy, clarity, emotional state and capacity influence how they make decisions, navigate pressure, manage relationships, lead others and ultimately shape the organisation around them.
Yet the more senior someone becomes, the less likely they are to have truly independent, confidential support that considers the whole person rather than simply their performance at work.
I work privately with senior leaders, either directly or on behalf of the organisations, family offices and networks supporting them.
My approach brings together physiology, nutrition, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, relationships, environment and the wider circumstances of someone's life.
This is a discreet, highly personalised advisory relationship designed to help exceptional people remain well, connected to themselves and able to access more of their capability, particularly when a great deal is being asked of them.
-
Better organisations begin with better conditions for people.
Leadership doesn't happen independently of the human being doing the leading.
How we feel influences how we communicate, respond to pressure, tolerate uncertainty, relate to others and make decisions.
I work with leadership and executive teams to explore health and human capability beyond conventional wellbeing — creating a deeper understanding of the factors that influence how people function individually and collectively.
Engagements are designed around the organisation and may include executive sessions, leadership workshops, facilitated conversations, strategic retreats and ongoing advisory support.
The objective isn't simply to make people “healthier”.
It is to create the conditions for clearer thinking, stronger relationships, better leadership and more sustainable human performance.
-
Moving wellbeing further upstream.
Organisations invest heavily in strategy, technology, talent and performance.
But every one of those assets ultimately depends upon human beings being able to think, create, collaborate, adapt and make good decisions.
I work with organisations that want to think differently about the role health and wellbeing play within their culture, leadership and long-term performance.
This can include wellbeing and human-capability strategy, leadership health, preventative approaches, organisational culture and the design of environments that better support people to thrive.
Rather than adding another wellbeing initiative, the question becomes:
How do we create an organisation in which human beings are better able to flourish?
A different lens
My perspective is multidisciplinary. I began my career as an economist, learning to understand systems, incentives, behaviour and long-term outcomes.
My fascination with the human being within those systems led me into nutrition and integrative medicine, and ultimately to a PhD exploring health through a much wider lens.
I have spent more than fifteen years working internationally across health and wellbeing, including a decade in the Middle East, where much of my work was private and referral-led with founders, senior executives, high-net-worth individuals and families.
I am also an entrepreneur, co-founding businesses and preventative-health propositions operating across international markets. These worlds are rarely brought together.
But human performance cannot be understood purely through productivity. Health cannot be understood purely through medicine. And organisations cannot fulfil their potential without considering the people upon whom that potential depends.
My role is to connect those perspectives.
The philosophy behind the work
At the heart of BeU is a simple belief, true wellbeing allows more of our human capability to be realised. When we are well, we have greater access to our true self, and potential.
Our energy. Our clarity. Our creativity. Our judgement. Our emotional intelligence. Our ability to connect with others. Our capacity to contribute, lead and create.
For an individual, that can transform a life. Across an organisation, community or population, the implications become much bigger. Health is human infrastructure, and a strategic, economic and business imperative.
Ways to work together
Engagements are intentionally bespoke and may include confidential executive advisory, leadership and executive-team work, workshops and facilitated sessions, organisational human-capability strategy, or ongoing advisory relationships.
I work selectively with individuals and organisations where there is an appetite to think differently about health, leadership and human potential.
