03 Dec Astro Nutrition; follow your star
I believe the highest purpose of nutrition is to encourage each of us to journey withIN.
Listening to your body, your own inner wisdom and reclaiming your sovereignty and power by living, eating and nurturing your Self in a way that maintains your unique, BeUtiful balance. This facilitates the manifestation of your highest potential and hearts desire. So you can BeU, literally, connected to your true essence which is expressed in a way that only you can.
I love all sorts of tools that have helped me, and my clients, to go withIN and tap into this stream of wisdom, rather than following external information, diets and whatever the latest detox is.
The body is crying out to be heard, literally, in the form of all sorts of health issues, from subtle bloating to full on dis-ease and discomfort. All of it though, is an invitation to dive withIN, to familiarize yourself with who-you-really-are.
There are many tools to begin tailoring your approach to nutrition, your blood and constitution type, for example, are popular ways to decipher the foods that will help create balance within your body.
Ayurveda exclusively seeks to do this, balancing all the elements and helping you to eat in a way that achieves a harmonious state, facilitating your thriving.
Eating by colour, understanding foods impact on your energy centers and vibration, eating in light of your emotions to create emotional stability and pendulum energy testing. All of these tools I share in my book, Your BeUtiful Body.
One of my favorites however, is to look at your star sign. Over 200 studies have found a correlation between the season of your birth and the health issues you are likely to encounter. One of the most fascinating was a Spanish study where “significant associations were found between the month of birth and several chronic diseases.” Read the full study here.
The rationale behind such findings is in line with the latest quantum understanding of biology and physics, that we are an intrinsic part of the universe, directly effected by our environment.
Astrologically speaking, star signs also indicate typical health challenges specific to each sun sign. Whilst this isn’t an exact science, anything that invites you withIN, connecting to your own body wisdom, so you can be inspired by this for your nutrition and self-care, I welcome. After all, Hippocrates once said, “a physician without knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician.”
So, take a look at my medical astrology inspired nutrition, and I invite you to use it as inspiration to dive even deeper withIN…

The water element rules the reproductive and lymphatic systems and body liquids, including blood, mucus and lymph. Water lubricates, flushes and cools the body. Water signs are exceptionally sensitive to their environment, particularly to fungi, bacteria and viruses.
